Thought I'd take a few extra minutes in my last shoot with Nona to remind everyone and myself that flash [or lack of] can really make a difference in your photographs!
These are all non-edited [minus the resize of course] for comparison.
1. No flash [indoor lighting - no windows]
2. Onboard flash [the one on your camera] directly at subject. I can't lie, I'm surprised it turned out as good as it did!
3. External flash reflected directly behind me at a light wall.
4. External flash reflected off to the side of me on a brown wall.

I'm not going to say which is better because that's completely up to the artist - none of these are wrong - but the difference is huge, so I hope this helps with any future photography projects you have!

Nona is a Fairyland Shushu (Modded sleeping plate) on M-line body.

I think number 4 is my favorite ^u^. I am a fan of softer lighting because I like the soft shadows it creates and I feel it brings depth to photos. The colors also seem warmer in number 4, which is probably because the light was bounced off a brown wall hehe. I think I need to start taking pictures of my dolls again, but they still need a lot of work done for them to be complete ^^'.
