Just practicing some lighting techniques out.
I've recently been reading up / watching videos on lighting for portraits and such... and I've found a lot of great tips! This is one example! You have the 'split' lighting, where a majority of the lighting is on one side (the cheek on the left side of the photo was photoshopped to give her a bit more 'realistic' feel) anyway... your subject has the majority of lighting on one side (the right) and your backdrop/background has the fade lighting in the opposite direction, creating depth from the background! Lighting in opposite ways! Love it.
This was actually really easy to do with just one light, I just used my door (opened it) for the sun to come in, and used a light board (reflective piece of something white) to bounce the light on the wall back into the direction of the doll against the wall. The end! Hope this helps! I find it an awesome lighting tip!!
